Our Breeding Place - Its History

All begings in 1993, when we bought our first bitch "Anahí de Tegüa", she was our first approaching with this breed.

In that moment we never thought that we shall have a breeding place in our home, and also never thought that this breed could be so lovely with the family and specially with children, these dogs love children and take very well care of them.

Then in September 1995, we traveled to Buenos Aires to make the first stud service to Anahí, this bitch up to that moment didn't cover all the expectatives that we had about her but we supossed that she would give us good puppies because she is daughter of Ch. Sando del Litoral.

We took the advise of Dolores and Enrique Querol, and chose for the stud a very well known dog Gr. Ch. Newcastle Viento en Popa".

As the days passed through, we made the inscriptions and we had the first question: We had to chose the name for the breeding place. We wanted something beautiful that could represent all that we felt. The kids started telling all that they knew, and then one of them told: the beech needs two months to birth the puppies, wich is two moons. Everybody liked the name so the breeding place name is " Of two moons" that in spanish is " De Las Dos Lunas".

In November, 24th. we had the result, 7 lovely puppies, we chose two of them to stay with us: Toro and Chacha.

Toro y Chacha De Las Dos Lunas

In 1996 at the age of 11 months Toro won Group II, and we know that is very difficult for a puppy and specially for a Dogo, then he won " The Best of The Best 1996 " as Special Puppy, then he began Paraguay Champion in October 1996. In 1997 won " The Best of The Best 1997" there he competed with other 120 Dogos.

1998 was the year for Chacha, she competed in all the shows of the country, she won a lot of Breeds, Shows Reserved, Opposite Sex to the winner. Also she won 4 Rankings: F.C.A., Litoral, Interior and Argentinian Dogo Club. She reached to be the bicth of the year 1998. The last shows of the year were very hard for her, becuase she was pregnant, but as a good Dogo she supported very well until December, 24th when she birth 8 puppies.

Toro and Chacha were showed since they were 4 months old, they won lots of rewards in lots of shows, wich made us plenty of joy but the thing that make us the more plenty of joy is the love that they give us every day.

Between the bitchs of our breeding place we also have to mention Ona del Chaparral ( Gr. Ch. Mendieta de la Vieja Diana x Gr. Ch. Altiva del Viejo Almacen ), she gave us three times very good puppies; she was a gift from Enrique Querol.

And finally today we are in the hard work of taking care of 15 puppies sons and daughters of Anahí and Chacha. In them we put all the love and spirit.

The only thing we want is to make the breed to be known and that some day it can have the value for something so important that the Argentnian people has, our Dogo Argentino.
