Scope of work Centre d'Estudis del Bages is an organization with bagage cultural near to turn the 25 years of history that includes different scopes of human and social sciences. This center has implanted its roots in the society of the region, because it is taken care of of the study, conservation and diffusion of prehistory, arqueology, the art, history, geografic, biology, the patrimony, the architecture, the folklore and the culture in general, among other many aspects. In this sense, this association reune to a numerous group of people of diverse formation, interested in all the mentioned scopes of work. That's why the main objectives of Centre d'Estudis del Bages  to foment and to promote projects of investigation of diverse nature and directly related to the region, of anyone of the scopes that affect the society in general. For that reason, the organization puts a special attention in the spreading of these works, or are by oral, written or audio-visual means, affecting the recovery of the patrimony and the historical memory, simultaneously that dinamiza the social host local culture of Centre d'Estudis del Bages is in the old building of the school of San Ignacio, property of the City council of Manresa, where they are located the Local Historical File of city i the Local Museum of Manresa, with that is collaborated habitually. 
Although the public activities are distributed by of municipalities of the demarcation.
